Optimisation Controller

What is it?

Optimisation Controller is an Excel-based control application that allows a user to manage the execution of optimisations developed using the OPL definition language in the IBM ILOG CPLEX optimiser. It provides:

• management of the data to be passed into the optimisation from a spreadsheet
• monitoring of the progress of the optimisation in real time
• management of the output of data from the optimisation into a database
• viewing of the outputs of the optimisation in the spreadsheet
• recording of a log of all activity, users, timings and status for the optimisation
• user administration of all users and administrators able to access the optimisation solution

What can it be used for?

Optimisation Controller provides a simple to use environment where users can execute a range of optimisations. It enables users to use their familiar Excel environment to control optimisations and for results to be presented back in Excel. It provides all the management capabilities required to successfully administer a multi-user optimisation environment.
